College Exploration

Are you ready?

This may be the most important research project of your academic career!  Thinking about life after high school can be overwhelming!  There are so many factors to consider if you're thinking about going to college:  What do you want to do with your life?  Should you go to a trade school, a 2-year school, a 4-year school, or an ivy league college?  What should you major in?  How are you going to afford college?  Which college should you go to?  Is college the right "fit" for you?  Does your chosen career require training or a certificate instead of a more "formal" college/school?

The "good" news:  You don't have to figure all of this out on your own!  There are a lot of resources available to help you, and this pathfinder is just one of them.  Here you will find video, tips, website links, and information to help you on your journey...

The "bad" news (that isn't really that bad):  This is your journey, so the choices are yours...

So where do you start?!  Right here!

Starting the conversation...

Talking about college is the first step in the planning process.  Talk to you parents, siblings, friends, teachers, and guidance counselors about your plans -- they can offer you insight, can ask you questions that will help you think deeper about your plans, and can help you along the way.
