This industry covers two basic areas: agricultural production and agricultural support activities. Agricultural production establishments perform all aspects of running a farm or ranch, such as farm owners or operators, tenant farm operators, and sharecroppers. Agricultural support activity establishments provide one or more services associated with farming or forestry, on a contract or fee basis. Services include soil preparation, planting, harvesting, breeding, timber estimating, and managing.
