Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation

"Of the countless places we can spend our free time, many of us choose establishments in the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry. These establishments provide leisure activities to fulfill the cultural, entertainment, and recreational interests of the public.

The types of establishments and activities covered in this sector are split into three groups: live performances and events [i.e. theatre, dance shows, musical concerts, sports matches]; cultural, historical, and educational sites [i.e. museums, historical sites, zoos, botanical gardens, nature parks]; and recreational or hobby activities [i.e. amusement parks, golf courses, ski resorts, marinas, riding stables, gyms/health clubs]."  ~Career Cruising database
